EYELASH EXTENSION SAFE MAKEUP & SKINCARE

Finding the right makeup that doesn’t ruin your eyelash extensions can be hard. You always hear us say Oil Free.. No Oil Based Products…STEP AWAY FROM THE OIL.

Makeup & skincare products that contain oil can cause the bond between your eyelash extension & your natural lash to brake down. Even if you are cleansing your lashes daily there is almost always oil residue left over that stays on your lashes (oil based products need an oil based remover…. that’s a lot of oil). Over time this oil residue will continue to build up & coat your lashes creating a barrier between your natural lash & any new eyelash extension applied. It may seem like your eyelash extensions aren’t lasting as long but in reality its the oil residue from your makeup that’s effecting your lash retention.

We know & understand your love for makeup. We also don’t expect you to stop wearing makeup all together.

EYELASH EXTENSIONS: CLASSIC vs VOLUME

One of the most popular questions we get asked is;

“What is the difference between classic and volume eyelash extensions?

The same curl, lengths and shaping was used in both sets of eyelash extensions to show the difference between classic and volume. The volume set in this photo used 3D fans (3 eyelash extensions per fan)

CLASSIC EYELASH EXTENSIONS

One eyelash extension is applied to one natural lash.

Classic eyelash extensions will provide a more natural look. Since only one eyelash extension is being applied to each natural lashes you will still end up with the same amount of lashes but the eyelash extensions will add length, curl and darken to each lashes.

Classic is a great option for replacing your every day “mascara” look. Classic is also great for anyone who’s natural lashes are already extremely full.

VOLUME EYELASH EXTENSIONS:

A fan of lighter weight eyelash extensions applied to one natural lash.

Volume eyelash extensions will add fullness and can add density to your lashes. Volume can can be make up of 2-6 eyelash extensions per fan. The amount of lashes per fan is determined based on your natural lashes health/ strength and the look you are hoping to achieve.

Volume has become a favorite among many because of how versatile it is. From soft natural lashes to full, fluffy, dramatic lashes volume can do it all. Volume is also great if your natural lashes are sparse or you have less than than the “normal” amount as they can help fill in the gaps and provide fuller lashes.
